Re: Lexiconographic changes due to P-Diddy's renaming
----
It has come to the attention of Word Up that Sean "Puffy" Combs, A/K/A Puff Daddy, A/K/A P-Diddy, has renamed himself merely "Diddy." Henceforth, the following changes in slang are advised:
Please update your use of slang to accomodate these changes immediately.
Thank you.

Schools' laptop sale in Richmond turns into a stampede (HamptonRoads.com/Pilot Online)
RICHMOND — A rush to purchase $50 used laptops turned into a violent stampede today, with people getting thrown to the pavement, beaten with a folding chair and nearly driven over. One woman went so far as to wet herself rather than surrender her place in line.

I wish I had thought of this...
New York Daily News: Peg leg pub crawl
"By day, they are mild-mannered civilians with jobs at banks and well-meaning nonprofit groups.
But on those nights when pub piracy is nigh, they don eye patches, hoop earrings - and colorful bandanas, too.
They also carry a paper parrot dubbed 'Harvey' and a plush monkey named 'Monkey.'
And being pirates, they call each other 'Matey' and growl things like 'Arrrrrrr' and 'Shiver me timbers' to anyone who dares approach them."
