Scenes from Thanksgiving
Me: yeah, it might be cool to go to southeast Asia, like Thailand or whatever- a couple of friends who went there had a really good time.
Mom: Whatever you do, just make sure you don't go to a whorehouse!
Me: Um... thanks for the advice Mom.

Kaiju was at the Warsaw last night. It's like a Japanese monster version of pro-wrestling. Pretty cool.

Open Mike Night
Ok that sounds more perverted than it is. At Antarctica in West SoHo (aka JOHn TESh- Just Over HollaNd Tunnel Exhaust SHaft), they have free drinks for anyone named Mike on Wednesday. So if anyone wants to go with me and take advantage of me in my wasted state that would be hot... Or you can just come and hang to prevent me from drinking alone, which I hear is neither exciting nor healthy.

Fun Schnapp Facts
My roommate recently observed after a visit by my parents that my family (including myself) really like to read the newspaper. In fact this is true and there is a strict hierarchy of newspapers that my family reads.
Growing up we would get the Washington Post, which I think my parents gave their undying loyalty to shortly after the paper helped bring down President Nixon.
Anyways, for reasons of snow storm or power outages, there would occasionally come a day when the Post wouldn't be delivered. And they would be out of them at the store. So we would grudgingly buy the Washington Times, which we refer to as "that facist rag."
It would bring on scenes like this, when a family friend staying with us bought the W Times.
Dad: [walks into kitchen, looks at paper] Oh, we've got that facist rag for a morning paper again!
Family Friend: Yeah, it's good to read for perspective.
Mom: [walks into kitchen, looks at paper] What happened to the Post? Why did you get this facist rag?
PS- Just for reference our hierarchy would roughly go something like this:
1. Washington Post
2. NY Times
3. Philadelphia Inquirer
4. Wall Street Journal
5. USA Today
6. Washington Times

So the puppet made the Dean Blog.
Here he is in action about to heal Uncle Sam on a gurney:

And here is the sunrise I saw from the Greenpoint waterfront after staying up all night with the Brooklyn for Dean kids finishing the puppet.

Oh God I need sleep...
PS- Props to Gerber, who marched in the parade with us on her visit to NYC...
